Following the enormous success of The Future of Protein Production LIVE! in Amsterdam last week, we've been inundated with great stories from further afield in the world of 'complementary' proteins (If you know, you know...).

First up, there was news of a fantastic raise for one of the companies appearing as a speaker at The Future of Protein Production, a company looking to produce cultivated bluefin tuna.

And while we were in the Netherlands with around 400 other people, the news also broke that one of the Europe's largest supermarket chains is putting its money where its (plant-based) mouth is by promising price parity of its plant-based range to conventional animal proteins.

And there were raises large and small for other companies in this nascent, dynamic sector, and one entire country even pledged to increase the production and consumption of climate-friendly foods as part of its 'Action Plan', a move welcomed by ProVeg International.

While in the Netherlands last week, we even announced that The Future of Protein Production Chicago will take place at McCormick Place on 15/16 May 2024, with The Future of Protein Production Amsterdam returning once more to RAI Amsterdam on 23/24 October 2024.

Please do make a note in your diaries. We go again... bigger and better!
